Beets ravioli

Walked in a new neighborhood restaurant and had lamb tongue, pork belly, monk fish and beets ravioli.
The ravioli was fantastic.
I don't hate beets, nice color and good for your health, but it's not my favorite.
The ravioli had a nice citrus flavor which soften the beets's sweetness and smell.
I was so inspired and tried to make it at home before I forget the details.
I used orange and beets puree with goat cheese as a stuffing.
Lemon dressing for top and some grapes and good balsamic vinegar as a sauce.

"calm down and breath."

Some chemical is missing.
Some bowls were broken at shelf.
I dropped my big bowls on the floor and broke them.
Many accidents in a few weeks.
When my mind is not sound the clay tells me "calm down and breath."

Boiled dumplings

I always get hungry when I am wedging clay at the studio. So I bring some snack with me. Dumplings are perfect for snack. I make batch of them and freeze them. Through them into boiling water just before I leave house. Kneeding dumpling dough is much easier than wedging clay.

Adriana's kitchen project

My good friend, Adriana's kitchen project has been completed and I was invited to the client's house for brunch.
Her tiles are so beautiful in the new and bright kitchen in a charming brown stone house in park slope.
Light background colour is effective to emphasize the green pattern.

Walking around the neighborhood stopped by my favorite select shop to see 3 cats there and browsed antique shops' show windows on the way home in such a nice and sunny day.
